Over the years, I've gone through a lot. As cliche as it sounds, it's true, but as I grew, I also learned how to express my feelings through writing, and I can't honestly say that I've been the best writer and an all star student in school, but I do feel as if my thoughts expanded and I truly grew while in Mrs. McGee's class. I'm glad I made the choice to take her class. I've stayed with a few close friends and made new friends that I never thought I would be associated with. Mrs. McGee taught me so many skills that I'm sure to use in the near future, and she brought me to appreciate a variety of different writings, from novels, to sonnets, to victorian writing, right down to Shakespeare himself (and that wasn't easy). Looking back on everything, Mrs. McGee is one of the best teachers I know, and as you look over my portfolio, also take the time to try and understand me a little more. Pieces such as my six word memoir, the bucket list, and the soul project should give you a general idea of my viewpoint on life.

Please, Enjoy.
